Adding multiple Windows XP installers?

Postby tankman986 » May 27th, 2011, 12:17 am

Is it possible to successfully add more than one Windows XP installer to a USB drive using SARDU? I want to add a Windows XP Pro installer to my drive (and maybe a 64-bit installer as well) which already has Windows XP Home on it, and I would like to know what SARDU does to keep the installers' files separate.

I just tried one versione of XPhome SP1 and one versione of XPhome SP2 one versione of XPhome SP3
one versione of XPPro SP1 and one and SP2 one Sp3
some for xp 64....
You can't have two version Home or Pro SPx: same version same SP

Okay, thanks for getting back to me. Does this cover the Recovery Disks as well? I'm looking for a way to put all of the Recovery Disks (and XP's Recovery Console) onto one flash drive, along with a bunch of other stuff.

Only recovery "standard" are supported.

Okay, so if I have this right, only one 32-bit Windows XP installer (regardless of version or Service Pack) can be on a USB drive, and all four official Windows Recovery Disks (Vista, Vista64, 7, 7x64, plus the Recovery Console for Windows XP) can be on the same USB drive as the Windows XP and/or Windows 7 installer as well?

So if I make a disk that has the following software:

-Windows XP 32-Bit Installer (Home OR Professional, Retail OR SP1 OR SP2 OR SP3)
-Windows XP 64-Bit Installer
-Windows XP Recovery Console
-Windows (Vista OR 7, not both) Installer (All-in-one, Retail OR SP1 OR SP2 OR SP3)
-Windows Vista 32-Bit Recovery Disk
-Windows Vista 64-Bit Recovery Disk
-Windows 7 32-Bit Recovery Disk
-Windows 7 64-Bit Recovery Disk

then all of the software listed above will function properly?

Test it! for me works it very reliably.
Important information: Don't change the SARDU screen or menu's when you want a fine working SARDU. 8-)
